About me

I was born amidst war in a refugee camp in Thailand 37 years ago. From there I lead an amazing life, full of plot twists and drama that I’m sure someone will make a telemovie out of my life one day. I am motivated by the writings in ‘The Pali Cannon’, and ‘The Art of War’. These two opposing philosophies reflect my extremist character. I have many passions like writing, music, and painting, but not enough time to indulge in all of them.

Why Photography

Compared to writing, music, and painting, digital photography is one of the fastest gratification tools available in the art world. The almost instantaneous input = output is one of the top reasons why I love photography. However, it doesn’t mean I’m a lazy artist. I can spend up to half a day in preparation for a single shot and drive everyone around me crazy with my insistence for ‘the perfect scene’. I have also spent over 300 hours in Photoshop, creating a single fantasy photograph. Digital photography provides a wide artistic platform, where my expression is not limited. And unlike my life sketches, in photography my models look like real human beings.
